
Over the Easter weekend, as well as the Easter festivities, 11 bars across Montefrio created a ‘tapas especial’ as part of a weekend tapas trail, known locally as Ruta de la Tapa.
During the 4-day event, people were encouraged to visit each of the participating bars and enjoy the special tapas on offer. To help entice people to get to as many places as possible, every bar stamped the ‘tapa-porte’ – the tapas trail passport. Those who collected at least nine out of the 11 stamps were entered into a draw to win a meal for two.
